Via superimposing entities that exist across time and space, my paintings attempt to visually dissolve the human-nonhuman binary and demonstrate how the inhabitants of the Earth are connected in atomic, micro and macro way. Since we are all tied up in multispecies entanglements, our inherent interconnectivity means we are unable to escape ethics or the ramifications of our actions. In this time of climate emergency, with knowledge that the web of life is constantly affected by our actions, one must question what happens when one species that is critically involved in the life of another starts to disappear, and how can we think, act and care for the entities around us.
